any particular bottles recommended i like white and dry so what should i try in the restaurants and does anyone know what the average price of a bottle costs in a restaurant??????
is there any good bottles in the local supermarket recommended?????

My wife has drank a white wine called Doluca, it#s not cheap in restaurants, starts about 26Lira but for a decent bottle you will be looking at a bottle in the mid 30's. Wine is heavily taxed in Turkey, the same bottle in the shop will be about 15Lira, you can get cheaper but it's not that nice.
Finally the wife says it's better as a spritzer.

Dont forget to haggle the prices, its worked for me 8/10. I never ever pay the asking price for a bottle of wine.

My favourite in both the white and rose, can vary in price from 23 lira to 35 lira

Both the tansas and the smaller supermarkets sell it. Cost between 10 and 15 lira.

Hubby n I would like to walk up to the flag but we would have to walk up the road side we dont leave
icmeler until the 22nd oct . We cant do it the 28th sept as we are going to gypsy beach that day should be fun let me know if and when a date is confirmed so we can keep that day free...
