Water Taxi from Icmeler to Turunc

Hi all, wonder if someone could help me. We have friends staying in Turunc and we would love to catch up with them whilst away as our home towns are not that close so don't see much of each other. I gather the bus trip can be a little white knuckle and I would much rather travel by boat. Does anyone know how often the water taxi run's and what time it starts from Icmeler and the last boat back? Also how long does the journey take. Sorry to ask so much, thanks for your help in advance.

Piece of cake , I hate water but love this trip by water taxi - 20 minutes or so and all operators are very friendly - see times at the stalls on the beach fronts - I use the one outside the Aqua hotel (there are other equally good ones )

I believe the cost is 15Lira return per person the same price as last year.

First taxi is about 9am, last one back is about 17:00 but check with who go with for the last boat back..

It's a lovely trip, we sometimes just go over for lunch.

water taxis are great even better going to turunc as you get to see the mystery hotel that has never been finished for years but has so much potential

Is it actually called the Mystery? or is it just a mystery why it never has been finished. How far finished is it?

Did Icmeler to Torunc by water taxi in May, Super way to travel, just relax and enjoy.

our first visit to Turunc very pleasant lunch in a restaurant overlooking the bay, a walk round, then back to Icmeler.

Yeah i did it in June - Fab way to travel and dead relaxed and a very chilled place when you get there. The mystery hotel on the way is strange. Judge for yourself how far finished it is. Government own it now - financial irregularities with the person that was building it. I am led to believe the same person has another hotel somewhere else now. My guess is this hotel will remain as is for some time to come but if somebody did it up could be a brilliant place. I guess watch this space. You will love the boat and Turunc for its laid back way of life. Have a great time.

Thanks, will look out for the hotel. My friend's have been going to Turunc for many years and they love how it is less commercialised and laid back. Would be daft not to try and catch up with them seeing as it is easy to get to from Icmeler.
