Onur Air - Baggage Allowence 2010 ???

Hi ,

we are flying out on friday from Manchester with Onur Air and we booked it through A1 Travel.
On the invoice it states we have 15kg baggage allowence incl. but just wondering if we are also allowed
the 5kg hand luggage for free. I know many airlines changed the baggage allowence and it changes every year
so i just wondering if anyone flew with Onur Air recently and was allowed 15kg Baggage + 5kg hand luggage.

I have not flown yet but I know it is 15Kg plus 5Kg hand luggage as it is stated on my booking via AegeanFlights.

Yes in addition to your Hold luggage you have a carry on hand luggage allowance of 5kg.
I fold all my T shirts, shorts and a towel up and take in the hand luggage making sure I use the full 5kgs.

With the reduction from 20Kg to 15Kg this year we will be doing the same, normally I am the only one who uses the full hand luggage allowance, my wife and two daughters just take a little bag with an IPOD and a book, this year they are all carrying small ruck sacks.

I thought you were allowed 20kg & 5kg hand luggage? Thats what we were told when we booked.

It depends if you pay the extra.

I have booked my two flights for 2011 a couple of weeks ago through Admin, and I paid the extra money to upgrade to 20kg. If you dont pay the extra, then it could just possibly be the 15kg. Check your invoice as it will show you there.

The standard is 15Kg each for all 2010 and 2011 flights, Aegean are charging £20 each way for an extra 5KG per person, however saying that it may be the agent you booked with who did a special deal, as said by Mary check your booking invoice

Thanks guys, shall get the parents to check! Do hope we did get 20kg as i'll never be able to keep it 15kg or under, i have problems keeping at 20kg usually!
