downward trend in £ v lira rate

I`ve been watching the rate tumble over the last few days from around 2.29 to today`s 2.22.I hope now the elections out of the way the rate will start to rise

It's went down since the new government took over

It is beginning to get a bit concerning.

last September we got over 2.40 in the resort over our 2weeks.

Got Maureen some YTL at Xmas at home got 2.38 without shopping around.

Must admit was expecting a bit of improvment from 2.29 before the election now things are sorted out.

In Icmeler next week - so how about a surge

yeah it is very concerning as in resort its probably not even 2.2 now because thats the interbank rate on the homepage
its not a good rate and makes everything that bit more expensive

Sorry to disapoint you guys, but the rate in Icmeler and Marmaris was 2.15 on saturday!!!, Not had chance to have a look yet today but will post next time I go to marmaris as the rates are sometimes different in Icmeler and marmaris. Hopefully it will pick up a bit but has been at approx 2.23 for weeks now.

yeah sometimes the rate in marmaris can be slighly lower than the rate in icmeler
thats weird but oh well
hope it improves cause that is awful and makes everything more expensive for us
