Just returned from Club Daystar. UK guests are in the majority - only 2 German couples. Staff very friendly and approachable, rooms are basic but cleaned every day with new towels - and sheets changed about 3 times. Rooms are cool so we didn't need air con - a domestic fridge with small freezer compartment. Bathroom good size and clean - shower head gives uneven spray and flowed onto floor - only issue was hot water isn't available all day. best time to shower is between 4-6pm. Food was excellent though we only ate there 4 times -good English breakfast. Great little supermarket a few metres away with friendly couple - everything cheaper there than in hotel but that's normal. Take your own music - staff will play your CD's otherwise it'll be techno, R&B,house all day. Booked extra day for only £10 (until we were picked up) - bargain as it cost £25 last year and only til 6pm.
Club Daystar is in a great location - in old village, a few metres to shops, bars etc and a 10min walk to the centre of Icmeler. An inexpensive but safe and enjoyable holiday.
