Mixed Meat Casserole ???

Postby janden » 11 Sep 2008 09:06

Hi, fellow Icmelerites,
Some 5/6 years ago we had a meal at a restaurant across the road from Romance it was next to a fruit & veg shop, it dissapeared a few years ago.
The place was run by Bill who then went to the Set restaurant & last year he was at the Florida but has moved on again.
After all that rambling, the meal we had was a chichen, beef & lamb casserole topped with a creamy sauce& cheese all in a clay pot.
Anyone know what it is called & who does a good one.

Thanks for the replies, we thought it an Ottoman casserole or something but tried those in the Chef & other restaurants but none had the creamy sauce & cheese on top.
When we go on the 19th we will find Bill & see if he remembers.
