9 carat Gold Prices

Postby mabbo » 16 May 2008 12:20

Hi All,
We leave for Icmeler tomorrow can't wait. I believe that the Turkish jewelers are quite keen on buying your old / scrap gold. Anyone any idea of how much we should expect a gram for 9 carat. The wife has some broken bits and we have been told to take them. We will use this in part exchange to by somthing else.

Thanks for any feedback but be quick we'll be away midday tomorrow

We take all our scrap to the jewellers you have 2 options cash or money off an item of your choice for which you will get a better deal.A word to the wise stay away from the flashy jewellers on the main road as they try to offer a pittance for your old gold. We go to simon at the turkish eye jewllers next to the bank just up fromthe icr office he gives us good deal,we have been back to him for the last 2 years. My brother in law & his girlfriend had their wedding ring made by him and they are over the moon.Hope this helps.

my husband had 2 wedding rings made into one and i had old gold put into mine a couple of years ago.
last year i had a diamond ring made out of a couple of rings i had & some odd gold the end result was bril the ring was so unusual everyone passes comment also had a ring made bigger we got them back next day so to have the ring designed to what i wanted another ring enlarged & my daughter had her bracelet repaired cost us £80 thought that was brill then at the end of our hols he cleaned all our jewellery for free, cant remember name just a little work shop then his shop next door its not far from havanna bar(zaza's)
