Hi got back one week ago from Icmeler, I have never been bitten before but this year I must have been bitten at least ten times, never saw the bleeders though, they were all on my legs from the knee down, it was only a few days before I came home so it was not too bad.

I noticed this year that the big lorry that smokes all the bars out at about 1.30am was not going round this year may be that is why people were getting bitten, quite a few people in our Hotel were complaining of being bitten. They all said the same they had never been bitten before.

ditto clare

i'm a mossies best friend - they just lurrrrvveee me but funnily enough i have never ever been bitten in Icmeler except for this year.

First day got 3 ant bites from grass near poolside then ended up with 7 mossie bites just one one leg and one so bad on my foot i could hardly walk. I had been taking anti-histamines prior to going and during my hols and i bought some lemon oil which seems to put them off as i only got bitten one after using that

I sprayed morning and night with Jungle Formula from Boots and didn't wear any perfume. I got 2 bites on my right arm, one after the other, when we had a meal in one of the restaurants a night we were in Marmaris. They did'nt bother me much though.I missed wearing my perfume and felt I smelled of anticeptic, but it was worth it as on other holidays I've had to be prescribed anti-biotics due to mossie bites. I discovered lemon oil during my last 2 days of holiday as I saw the locals spraying it and that also worked a treat - and I only smelt of lemons rather than Germaline.

We came back 2 weeks ago were staying in Marmaris, I was sprayed all over with mossie spray I bought in Superdrug with deet in it and was using the lemon spray as well (no perfume), mossies love me and I got loads of bites, 3 of which on my leg got badly infected and my leg swelled up and I had to go to the doctor one we got home.
