Yes there are a couple of exchange places who will change scottish notes! :) You dont get as good a rate as english though!

Just make sure she has an english £10 note to get her visa and she should be fine!

Hi Sandy, you can take Scottish notes, but the exchange rate is very poor in comparison with English notes. Best to try and change them before you go either at the shops by asking them if they could exchange them or at the airport by exchanging them for lira. We are just about to leave for the airport (in an hour) and can't wait to get to Icmeler. Enjoy yoyr hols! Jejo

Hi Sandy,
Best bet is to exchange at any bank enroute to airport.
Last year the official exchange in resort was 1.70 per £, but only 1.14 per Scottish £ (in October). Don't know where your coming from in Glasgow but we often stop at a bank in Paisley.
