Snorkling

Postby okitsme » 04 May 2007 15:39

Having spent our last couple of trips in Mexico and Egypt our two boys have come quite partial to swimming around with a mask and that pipe thingy sticking out of their mouths.

Apart from upsetting the local Mafia, are there any places/trips around Icmeler were you can Swim with the Fishes

I guess what I'm asking is should we pack the snorkels . :?:

Cheers

The sea and beach at Icmeler unfortunately isnt in the same league as Mexico, its not very clear, if you walk round to where the rocks are it gets much clearer, also they take snorklers and sunbathers on the diving boats, the one we went on moored up close to the shore so it was quite safe for the kids, I dont know what they charge for snorkling but it was only about £20 for diving.

Snorkling

Hi guys. We had trouble finding places to snorkel. When you say the "rocky" part of the beach. Would that be to the right-hand side of the beach? (With your back to the town) Round a little headland?
