What changes have been made in Icmeler

Hi iv'e heard that there has been a lot of changes made with places being pulled down can some one please up date on the changes please

Dont know when the last time was that you were there. But a few changes for ths year, the main one being a new path running parrallel with the existing beach front path running through what was the Aquau hotel gardens and the Marti gardens. Both hotels are on the case and are working hard to fix the area up and doing well. In effect this means that the hotels will no longer have exclsive use of the gardens as this is council land

There is also talk of the Cafe del Mar and other such cafes at the top of the hill on the road to Marmaris not being open this year. The Mayor looks like he is trying to enforce laws which for years were ignored, mainly with regards to planning permission. If any places do not have the relevant planning permission or the right licence for entertainment that could be an issue.

The Blue Rainbow has been completley gutted and will be refurbed for the start of the season with a new name.

Hi thank you for the info on the changes we were there last August & have been going to Icmeler every year for the past 18 years but we feel as though we would like a change this year. But i like to keep in touch with what is happening as we have seen a lot of changes over the years some good & some bad i think the worst change that was made was the canal stalls going as a lot of people will agree. So please keep up on the info & thank you for taking the time & trouble to keep us all up dated. Any news on the Irish bar or the Dream Boys that was next to the private hotel
