Turkish baths

Postby ronsan » 18 May 2014 18:39

Can anyone give me some tips of a nice clean turkish baths, went to one in icmeler last time we went and i didn't like it, i didn't think it was very clean and it didn't smell nice. I don't mind paying a little more than what you pay if you was to buy it off the people that sell trips and stuff. Thanks :)

We went to the hamam in Armutalan which was a very good experience, but I have heard that the one in Icmeler at Fortuna Beach is meant to be good if you wanted to stay in the resort.

Last year we went to the Union Palace Hotel and it was the best one I have ever had. It is quite far back in the resort but we were picked up and returned to our accommodation all for £10 and no hard sell whilst there. We also had the choice of a male or female member of staff for the treatment. I will be returning there on my next visit to Icmeler

Thank you :D , both sound good but i'm liking the sound of the one where you can ask for male or female, last time it was me and my Husband that went but this time my Husband is not coming to icmeler with us. My Daughter said she would like to come with me to try it and she is only 9 so i would not want a man to do hers.

I booked with Ozzy who has a stand/kiosk beside Chico Hairdresser and Turkish Delight restaurant on the main road where the money exchange takes the corner. Hope this makes sense as not too good at giving directions

This may sound obvious, but why don't you just pop into the ICR office and book with the girls there? They will keep you right...

We are able to organise a Turkish bath for you at Union Palace or we can price for you to go to the Ottoman in Marmaris if you would prefer. Both provide pick up and drop off service for you. If you pop to the office or mail me we can arrange this all for you.

Didn't know that ICR booked with Union Palace as earlier poster ( perhaps on another forum) asked and the response was Mersoy Bellavista and Hamam in Marmaris if I remember correctly. Glad to hear this as it widens options. I usually have booked with ICR but did not like Mersoy Bellavista hence the reason I went elsewhere.

Hi Laney.
I sent you an email a few days ago regarding a quote for six adults to union palace for the turkish bath but not sure if you got it as haven't had a reply. i also appreciate you may have been to busy to respond to all emails yet, but just wanted to let you know what i'm after. Could you advise me if i need to re-send email? thanks.

Thanks for replying laney. Unfortunately I have had tech problems and had to change my email address. I was thinking of booking union palace for Turkish Bath for six adults on our second day in icmeler. Would it be possible to come into office the day before we want to go, and book it, or do you need more notice?
