Babadan boutique hotel 2014

Postby nicolaluvsjedward » 06 Oct 2013 08:15

Hi

I've just booked the babadan hotel suites for August next year for a changed as I usually stay in the selen 2 and was just wondering does anyone know a comparison between them which one is better as I thinkI will still be spending a lot of time in the selen 2 if this isn't as good as I know the staff in the selen 2 and they are all friendly and have good banter

Is there a pool bar ?, wifi ? Is it near ambiance ? Haha

Thanks for your help in advance

Hi nicolaluvsjedward, we have booked here too for next August... Searched a few forums to find out a bit of info on hotel. Haven't come up with much. However what I have found has been all positive... So that's good. If you trawl through the reviews for the Babadan Apartments on Trip Adviser there are a couple of reviews hidden in there. Like you I would love to hear the experiences of someone who has stayed there, or knows the hotel well...

Stayed in the suites last year - loved them, the only draw back is they are on the top floor with no lift (not good if you are over a certain age and not fit  ). Once you get there it is well worth it the views are stunning. The hotel staff are very friendly, and no hassle to eat or drink there. The pool is on the small side, but in our second week there we had it to ourselves. The hotel is central to everything and I would go back in a heartbeat if there was a lift. Hope this helps

You probably have this info already but just in case you don't, the Babadan has a website http://www.babadanturkey.com/hotel.html

Hi nicolaluvsjedward, yes we will see you there. :D We're there from the 5th 'til 19th. I'd checked the hotel website out before booking. There does seem to be Air con units on the pictures and it does say it has had a refurbishment recently. How recently I don't know. Read reviews on TR, TA & ICR before booking too. I read a review on TA (I think) which said you could use the Apartment's pool. Also read there was no lift which does concern me a little, but we have booked with ICR and have requested a low floor as there are no ground floor rooms. I'm sure we will be fine. Like I said only found positive things about it, apart from the one you've mentioned  At the end of the day if it's clean and safe I'm happy. Holidays are what we make them.... Roll on August 14!! 8)

Will be good to see/talk to you too. Don't think I've been to Ambiance... Think I may be the wrong side of the hill for that one  But never say never... Will be heading for Friends Bar myself and meeting up with my friend (Biddy) who is staying at the Rhodes around the same time.. See you there nicolaluvsjedward... :D

The ceilings are full height when you walk in but they have sloping ceilings towards the windows - soon got used to it though.
