Is the Magic Garden Still open

We have not visited Icmeler for three years and am wondering if the Magic Garden is still there?
We have always used it on the way back to our apartments as a chill out area

What is the magic garden like? Am I correct in thinking its down the side of Lighthouse Restaurant?

Yes Sami it is, down the side of Golden Moon, next door to the Kactus Bar. It's a really nice little bar, good place to chat over a drink, no loud music, family run and it has a little water feature inside. You have to see it to appreciate it really.

When we were in Icmeler in June there was talk that the Magic Garden was closing down and moving to a new location ... has anyone heard anything to add to this?

Yes, apparently places like Magic Garden, Kactus bar and Botonic Miami were originally built as residential properties and I assume the mayor has decided they need to go back to being a residential property. So any of them that are trading from their 'garden' wont be able to next year and will have to find new premises to 'trade' from.

Possible that it might not happen, I was led to believe Mayor Elections are due later this year so depends if the mayor stays or a new mayor elected.

I thought that they were consolidating Marmaris and Icmeler into one council and one mayor next year so I thought Zeki would be out of a job either way unless he fights the new consolidated seat.

I may have misunderstoof what I read though, maybe JT can confirm or not.
