Sunbeds.

Postby carolineb » 12 Aug 2012 10:03

Morning all, will be in Icmeler soon and have been reading about sun beds on the beach. Have been told the beach by Deniz Kapasi is very good with no hassle, is there anywhere else we could try.
Thanks...Caroline. :D

Good morning Caroline. The part of the beach you are talking about is nice. The guy who works there is called Patrick. He is a lovely guy. Enjoy your holiday :)

We stayed at the Golmar (just along from Deniz Kapasi), and found the beach and sea really stoney along that end. We much preferred it around the middle of the bay tbh, where the sand was better and hardly and rock/stones as you went into the sea.

Hi, we also prefer the middle of the beach, in front of Kontes or similar.
But we are quite happy to pay 5 lira for 2beds and not buy anything off the waiters,
small price to pay and NO hassle. We all want and like different different things.
We like to take our own picnic and drink.
15th Sept cant come quick enough, roll on. :D

I agree with you, pastie - we always go to the same part of the beach (just to the left at the bottom of the canal) and buy our sunbeds from a guy called Mehmet. We met him on our first visit to Icmeler several years ago and have been going to his part of the beach ever since. He looks after us really well, no hassle whatsoever and we're more than happy with that arrangements. 5TL for our two sunbeds and peace of mind is a very small price to pay indeed.
