Anyone Staying at Babadan in August?

As the subject says, we've just booked for 20th August. 21 of us going, have been for the last 2 years and love the place.

Hi yes were going 18th August for 2 weeks, went last year too to Babadan Apts.

We went last year too but first 2 weeks in June and the year before. We're going August this year due to my younger sister having exams at school. 21 of us this year so im sure you won't miss us. How many are in your party?

looks like we may meet there then !!! only 4 of us my hubby, 2 kiddies and myself. cant wait, it is the apartments your going to isnt it?

Yes it's the apartments, we love it there everyone is so friendly. How old are your kids? I have two boys aged 4 and 8 (when we go). The other kids in our party range from 8 weeks old to 16.
Where are you flying from? We're flying from Manchester.

Hi Mrs M, my daughter is 8 and my son will be 6 eight days before we go. Were flying from Birmingham on sat 18th. Weve also arranged for a private transfer this year as last year it took almost 3 hrs and beings as we dnt land till 10 on the night, thought it best....and quicker!!! How bazaar how i only joined upto this forum 2 weeks ago and someone is going the same place the same time!!! The weathers already looking out there according to posts on here too.

I know its mad, I joined not so long ago either, to find out whats new in Icmeler etc. The first time we came the canal had the stalls, second time they were gone and i've been reading on here that there back this year so that will be good.
The transfer is horrible, last year we had a night flight and we didn't arrive at babadan until about 7am turkey time! This year we have day flights so we should be arriving at babadan on the monday about 5pm.
I also heard they were doing building work at Babadan moving things around etc but saw the posts on here saying nothings happening.

Hi, yes thats the flight we usually go on 7am from UK. Originally we had booked all inc in Marmaris for this year but after speaking to people and finding out ourselves, all inc is not worth it especially around the icmeler area cos food was so cheap and of superb quality, so as soon as we got home we changed back to the Babadan and have a lovely Saturday 4pm flight, gets there at night, but hey ho!!! Yes i'd heard that about building work last year, and it was me who asked if anyone knew about anything happening, but so far nothing is. It was extremely hot last August, they said on our first day the temp was 52 deg, are you there for 2 weeks? Goodness me you were lucky to get you all in one place, cos there arent a huge amount of apts at Babadan.

Hi yes we're going for 2 weeks, a week isn't long enough especially with the 4 hour flight and 2 hour transfer. We've been planning it for so long, my step dad has paid for us out of his retirement and we were very lucky to get in, we have 5 apartments booked.
I like it hot so it doesnt bother me as long as im near the pool its fine. We've been to Marmaris too was good but not as nice as Icmeler and its not far if you want to go for the day or night.
Did you go to Turunc last year thats a nice little place we got the taxi boat there only small but nice.

Hi no we didnt do any trips last year just wanted to get a feel for the place, but think we will be doing this year. Yes i love it hot too.Anyway we will see you in August, cant wait. You will know my 2 children, they'll be in the pool constantly!!!
