Postby ianstewart » 28 Feb 2012 07:56

hi as any one stopped @ the melita apartments, i've read some revies but they seem to be not so good, can any one enlighten me please, also i can not find any pics of the bathroom area as my missus is a bit perticular with bathroom/toilets etc & cleanliness.

Stayed at Melita 2010, apartments are a good size and no problem with cleanliness, pool area also kept clean albeit there was a lack of sun beds for the amount of apartments, location is great 2mins from beach and 5mins from centre, bar area was quiet at night with no entertainment but as i said you're close enough to bars if you require a more lively venue with the famous Zazas just across the road.

Hi staying at the Melita apartments in June, have read some bad reviews but most of them were old ones as far as I know changed hands over the last two years and these reviews are a lot better, very good position near the beach and bar area and local buses to Marmaris

Does anybody know how much the safety deposit boxes are and where are they situated, also how much AC

hi many thanks for your replys, i read the reviews & the latest i could find was 2010 so i'm hoping that it will be fine there never stopped in apartments b4 always in a hotel, but been spoilt with the old efes & the kapmar.
they were both good locations & spacious pool areas & out of shade of the hotel.
but will give it a go i think this year @ the melita.
many thanks again to you both, (bazzag65 & dodomo).

Hi

We stayed at the Melita in 2010 and 2011, big apartments with balcanies at the front and back of each apartment, very basic inside but like people have said very central, Safety box I think was £1 or £1.50 a day and Air Con £4 a day.

Not enough sunbeds to accomodate everyone but the beach is a 2min walk, also the pool does start to shade over from about 2pm onwards. Wish I was going back :(

Hi

Thankyou for your replys, have not been SC for the last 11 years staying at Elif, Blue Rainbow,L'Etoile and
Chateau, all in good positions as we like the beach, usually on B&B basis sometimes AI, have often walked pass Melita but never been in. But felt like we needed a change this year with the freedom of eating where ever we fancy and hopefully larger living space

Only 98 more days and we will hopefully be on our way and find Melita up to our satisfaction

Hi i stayed at The Chateau DeVille last September and although i loved he hotel the pool was a bit naff so we used The Melita's and it was so peacefull and was only us using it. Apartments look very nice as the cleaners had left one of the doors open on the ground floor and had a peek. At the end of the day all we use them for is sleeping, showering and getting changed so it doesn't matter if they're basic. Just don't be tempted with the Portofino next door, hellhole!!!! :D :D
