October

Postby beccabeep2011 » 30 Jul 2011 18:14

Hello,

I was wondering if people could tell me what the weather is like in the first/second week?

Also what restaurants are open in these weeks and if Deja-Vu, The Buffalo Bar and The Three Bells are open during this time as a want to plan a birthday surprise for my dad at one of these restaurant, preferably at Deja-Vu.

Thanks
Rebecca :)

The weather is usually not too bad in the first half of October, but there is always the possibility of some rain/thunderstorms. The bars and restaurants do begin to close towards the second half of the month, but the Three Bells is open all year round and I'm pretty sure the other two will be open then too. It's quite a nice time to visit Icmeler, I think. We usually go In October and have always been pretty lucky with the weather apart from last year, when it poured all week!

I agree with the above post and also it can get quite chilly at night so you will need a cardigan or light jacket to wear. One good thing is it is lovely and warm in the sun but not stifling in the rooms so you save money on not needing air conditioning.

Thanks guys :)

And Keith, me and my friend spent our nights there dancing all night so if you mention Rebecca and Lauren they may recognise our names as a few of them do have us on facebook but they may give a better answer in person, thanks.

This might be a stupid question but what type of clothes should I take for the night times in October, as the only time I've even been is June/July.

With last year being an exception as it was quite cold, usually in October I just wear the same sort of clothes as June. An odd night I might put a pashmina around my shoulders later on in the evening, but very rare.

I have never worn jeans in October, I find it too warm :)
