I just ask for a dinner and to leave the meat off, any restaurant will do this and knock some lira off the price, I had a brilliant Sunday lunch without meat when I was last there. Also I particuarly like the vegetable casseroles they do there- lots of veg and tomato and very tasty. As a vegetarian myself I have never had a problem in any restaurant there, your Mum will not go hungry! :)

Hi
The Majestic had rather a good range of vegetarian meals. :)
There was a choice of Turkish and chinese vegetarian on the menu. I hope this helps you?

and there was me going to suggest Champagne, Lighthouse or Selam, Lal if you want traditional turkish food - but Sizzler beat me to it
Seriously though, I'm nowhere near inclined to order veggie food usually, but traditional turkish food which is vegetarian is fantastic - just like the dish is supposed to be rather than a meat-less version of something it's not

Hi, we are going back this Sunday to Icmeler, I am a vegetarian and the Kerem Restaurant by the canal is lovely for vegetarian food which authentic and home cooked. The restaurant itself is a traditional house and you eat in the house or in the garden. My husband is not vegetarian, but also had a lovely meal. The Selem is another restaurant which is along from the Selen 2 Hotel, again family run with good home cooking. All the restaurants I have ever eaten in are very accomodating if you tell them what you want to eat.

Have a lovely holiday
