Had to get the old map out for a couple of those.
Nice locations.

I can definitely recommend Cappadocia. Beautiful area, and very different. A photographer's paradise. We had a few days there before moving on to Icmeler for 2 weeks. It's very cheap and easy to fly to Kayseri or Nevsehir from any of the resort airports, or Istanbul.

I would love to visit some of those places - my late father visited Cappadocia many years ago and said it was a fantastic place. Thanks for posting that, Rami - it gives us a flavour of some of the rest of Turkey. Very interesting, and some beautiful views there.

Seeing those photos of Cappadocia has made me want to visit again.
We first went in May 1994 and thought it was the most amazing place.
We were staying in Side at time of visit and it cost £36 for 3 days 2 nights including all entrances to places visited and HB accommodation in a cave hotel.
We went back to Side in March 2006 and the same trip was only 38euros but there was snow on the mountains so decided not to go.
I wonder if any trips go from Icmeler to Cappadocia,by road?
