buffalo bar

Postby maryprobus » 27 May 2011 13:36

Hi,
Am going to Turkey (Icmeler) for the first time on 9th June and staying at Fortuna Beach Hotel.
Can you tell me where the Buffalo Bar and Majestic restaurant are in relation to the hotel.
Also how much can you expect to be charged for sun beds on beach, they come with cushions I assume, photos I have seen are obviously taken when beach is empty.
Loving the daily weather forecast, cant wait to have some sun.

Thanks
mary :D :D :D :D

From beach infront of Fortuna, facing sea, turn right, walk along beach front, past Bamboo Bar, you will see "canal" if you turn up here Majestic is around half way up (prob 5 mins walk). Buffalo, carry on heading down beach front, pass Kontes Hotel, row of white terraced type beachfront cottages, you see right turn, on 1 corner casa & blanca hotel, other corner Yakomoz - walk up this road, across the road parallel to beach and Buffalo few yards ahead on the left.

oh and sunbeds, i think are still 2.5 lira for the day, but not sure cos i never paid in April lol... Fortuna possibly has its own section of beach, so may or may not charge, but it would likely be in front of Bamboo Bar or near too. Sunbeds do come with mattress and you can ask if you want umbrella.

Hi Mary

Look for the signs along the beach as some cafes/bars don't charge for their sunbeds if you eat or drink there.
