avlu apartments

we've just booked the avlon apartments, flying from glasgow 7th july, has anybody tried these apartments, it's our 3rd year in a row in icmeler... magic....

Which Avlu, there's 4 of them, we've stayed at Avlu 1 about 5 years ago when they were contracted to Manos / Airtours.

avlu 1 is on the main road and my friend stayed there last year
she said it was really nice
basic but very clean and that the staff were lovely

hi stopped in avlu 1 4 times previous to this year going back again july 26th..its small friendly close to everything would thoughly recomend murat who owns it will you feel more than welcome nothing is too much trouble and im sure you wont be disappointed..enjoy

Hi, it was quite close to lots of bars and not far to walk to Tansas which is a plus but a bit more of a walk to the beach.

The apts are basic, i kept setting smoke alarm off as they put it right where the 2 ring hob was, so had to open all doors and windows to let air in. There wasnt a toaster in the apts we took our own. however that could have changed because it was a few years ago we went.

When we went we had 2 adults and 2 kids so struggled for storage of clothes. ended up using one of the drawers in the kitchen to put small clothes in.

Ferdi was the barman then he used to give the kids free games of pool.

We had a ground floor 1 bed apt nearer the grass area, some people could end up getting apts facing the main road and Capt Bulls...s.

All in all it wasnt a bad place to stay.

have heard ferdi no longer working at avlu...the info i have said hed been sacked not sure if its true

Ferdi has left avlu 1 and has got a bar in his home village.

spoke to ferdi a couple of times hes always said he wanted his own bar..good luck to him he will be missed top barman..thanks for the info
