Aqua Hotel Changes For 2015

Postby JT » 19 Dec 2014 09:03

As we are agents for Aqua hotel in Icmeler they mailed us ICR Travel www.icmeleronline.com with some official updated news and here it is for our guests that have already booked for 2015

We would like to inform you about some of the ongoing work being done in İçmeler by municipality. The project includes a walking path starting from the canal area passing through some of the properties including Hotel Aqua. The mentioned path and the connected garden area were previously used by Hotel Aqua by paying occupation tax fee to municipality. Thus, some of the small service units we operate which were placed along the new walking path were dissambled. We have not been informed about the plans for the garden area which belongs to muncipality yet. In the mean time, we are replanning the hotel outlets again to suit the taste and comfort of our guests.
We will be supplying you with more information and updates as soon as planning comes to end.

We will keep you up to date at www.icmeleronline.com regularly throughout and ongoing developments that arise

Thanks for that, JT - have seen scaremongering starting elsewhere, with some people saying they've heard the hotel itself is being demolished. Always the same at this time of year - rumours start and grow legs and people listen to all kinds of nonsense (not on here, of course!)

Just shows that length of use counts for nothing if the local authorities make any decision.

We should be grateful for British planning laws, really - at least once planning applications are completed, they are upheld !
