Best B&B near the Beach

Postby geordie1970 » 17 Jul 2014 07:28

Morning, still not booked our Accommodation for September and torn where to stay!

Any advice on a nice, cheap Hotel of Apartment right by the Beach on a B&B basis?

The Efendi is our current choice, but if anyone's got any hidden gems please let me know and approx price for a week

Cheers

We stayed in the Mavera Hotel last month and really enjoyed it - it's only a couple of minutes from the beach, lovely quiet location just up from the Winehouse restaurant. Lovely staff, nice pool area with great sunbeds and the food was great too.

We've stayed at the Navy twice which is cheap and cheerful!! (as are many - but all you need is somewhere to sleep and have a shower right?) Very conveniently located - just a 2 minute walk to the beach. It's clean and comfortable and the breakfast is good - Chef will do any type of egg for you in the morning. The only downside to this hotel is the pool - it's not very big and doesn't get a lot of the sun!!!!! 8) Having a change this year and staying in the Doruk - just round the corner from the Navy and nearer the beach again!! It's a bit more expensive but reviews look good. We paid £400 each last year for 2 weeks, and this year we're splashing out £575 each for our two week stay - CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! Roll on September.

I've heard the Kapmar is nice & thats not too far from the beach.

I understand they also have a fridge in the room which is quite rare for B&B properties.

Efendi would be my choice.

No fridges in Kapmar, at least with the Efendi you can hire one if you wanted and the air con included in price of room

The Efendi would be my choice as well. I have stayed there 5 times and enjoyed every holiday.
