Munamar

Postby lucy2 » 15 Apr 2014 11:18

Can someone explain about Munamar. I see there is a Munamar Beach Hotel and a Munamar Beach Residence. I stayed in Icmeler a few years ago and remember seeing Munamar oppposite the Mersoy Exclusive, but need to know if there is 2 Munamars. The one I am interested in is on the Beachfront. Also, any reviews would be appreciated.

The Munamar Beach Hotel is the one on the beachfront - the other one is in the street behind it.

Thank you. I dont want the one on the road. I would rather pay abit more and go to the one on the beach as I remember this did look lovely. Does anyone know what the food. drink etc is like at this hotel ?

Hi Lucy,

We stayed next door at the Munamar Beach Residence 2 years ago (by default for 8 nights, as we were at the Casa Blanca but they'd over booked and offered us a free All Inclusive upgrade on our 1st day, if we moved next door after 5 nights, which we did!) .. So due to that we could use the Casa Blanca and the Munamar Beach

We found the food there very nice, although we mainly used it for Lunch (so handy with it's own beach outside!) and a few drinks before we went out on an evening for our meal out. So can't say too much what the evenings were like?

Overall it's a classy Hotel, plenty of nationalities, lots of elderly people and a nice place ... So good that our eldest goes there 6 weeks tomorrow with his GF for there 1st hol together and 1st ever visit to Turkey :D ... We recommended it for them, so they'll have a good time we hope!

Cheers

Hi Lucy,

Yes as Blondie says the 'Beach' Hotel is the proper one .. The other is a 'fake' who apparently even uses the 'Beach' Hotels photographs on it's website just to entice people!

So be very vigilant when booking .....

Wait

I think you are all getting confused

The one on the beach is Munamar Beach, the one next to it is the Munamar Residence and the erm fake one on the road behind is the Munamar Beach Resort which will allow kids to stay

As far as I know the other 2 on the beach were adults only

There you go no more confusion

I agree JT,
The Munamar Residence is the Hotel on the front which years ago was the Effes Hotel it is just along the front from the Munamar Hotel & over the little bridge.
