seen on another site some places not accepting sterling !! is this true ? a bit of a worry as we fly out on Monday...

Maybe get yours changed up today then Jimmy. The rate is good wherever. Do you mean, the exhange places are not accepting it or shops etc?

ive already changed some money , maybe go back into town tomorrow !! somebody said Banks where not taking Sterling... don't know if its true or not !! Find out on Monday......

Yes, I saw this post as well. Not sure how true that is. Plenty of other places to use that will.

think most shops and bars are still exchanging money but at a lower rate than in uk for the moment at least.shops are still taking sterling as payment as its less of a risk and can hold on to it until things improve.Hopefully it will all settle down soon.
