Time to pack

Postby kez&sue » 30 May 2018 16:43

Hi all, it's finally here time to pack before our 1st trip of the year to icmeler, we have been panicking a little due to the weather but that's what you get in May, it can be a little bit and miss but it's looking a lot better for the coming days, I'll try to post any updates on changes etc that havnt already been mentioned.

The new airport isn't open yet and quite honestly doesn't look like it will be ready any time soon.

Hi we have just returned and the temperature was as hot as I remember this time of year regularly reaching 40+ most days the resort is definitely busier than the last few years but still not anywhere near like it used to be, we had an amazing time as always staying at the doruk can't wait to get back there in September, enjoy your holiday as I know you will.

I would agree - we just got back in the early hours of this morning and it was scorching the last few days. At around midday yesterday, the temperature sign at the change office next to Yolo was showing 42C (although I'm always sceptical as to how accurate those signs are!) Icmeler definitely seemed busier than this time last year - the Russians are back en masse, but staying at the all-inclusives as usual, especially Club Munamar, Mirage World and Mersoy.

Hi Blondie, glad your home safe, I am also a little sceptical of the temperature boards but the one you mentioned and the one opposite muhrat at Istanbul watch shop were identical and it was so hot , but as usual we had a great time , dalaman is still awful, but I will go through it all again in September.
