Could somebody in resort please give me an idea of what the exchange rate is at the moment please?

It's hovering around the 5.7 mark at the moment

I got around 5.4 to 5.6 between Tesco and Sainsbury's. Got a decent amount for my money.

he rate in the UK seems to be rising again. You can get round 5.7 at the moment, in resort it will be higher i would imagine. Nonetheless, the exchange rate is very good from out point f view, however, the locals are not daft and will raise prices accordingly, for meal and alcohol. We go early July but i have bought some lira already as you never can tell. I will take sterling with me also.

I went to a small supermarket today, across the road from Titan restaurant and he told me his rate was 6.25. I mean that is mad!!

Might be an idea to buy now if you're going later in the season. All the indications are that it'll start dropping again after the election on 24 June.

We are not going till August. But I changed a £1000 and got 6.2.at debenhams. So what ever happens we are happy with that.its the first time Ever I have changed much money in England.

Its around 6.1 to £ at the moment.

The election is due 24 June so there could be some movement depending on the result

I think they've confused the selling rate and the buying rate.

I've just seen the Lira have gone up to 6.25 today.
