Is Kontes Beach still going? I quite like to wander down there in the day time and have a cold glass of something whilst people watching.

Really? Oh what a shame. It was quite a big
hotel attached too. They must have lost a lot of business to close up.

Hi Sami,
Both Kontes and Efendi hotels are closed and deserted, they have been since last season. It is a sorry sight not sure what's happening but did hear they were being knocked down.

Oh that is sad. If they knock them down, the plot for Kontes will look so bare. I hope they will be able to build something else. What is the old village like, is everything still down there? I'm staying at Sun Village (the smaller one) in May next year.

Yes, most things in that area are pretty much the same...there's a new Sok supermarket not far from Sun Village now. It's where Cadde Pide used to be, just down the road from the crossroads where the Love Star is.

Ah I'm glad the old village is the same. I tend to hang around there anyway but I do like to go to some bars and eateries in town.
