TICKETS - THOMAS COOK

Postby helen2904 » 01 Jul 2012 19:40

Travelling with TC on the 27th July from Manchester. No tickets have arrived as yet. Is anybody else on this flight, and do you think we will receive E Tickets? If not what do you suggest.

Hi

We used T Cook and we flew out on the 11th June. Only got our e tickets one week before we left as they said they were behind with the new ticket system. Hope this helps

Not on the flight but recently flew with Thomas Cr**k and we received our email tickets 10 -15 days before our flight, if you check your original booking I think its on there stating when you will receive.
Word of warning they are very strict with the luggage allowance and we were charged £42 for 3kgs of excess luggage allowance. Dalaman also charging £14 per kilo for excess luggage allowance.

Thank you all for your kind and quick replies. On our booking form this year it states that we have 20kg. I hope this is ok, as I don't particularly feel like paying excess.

When I went with T C in may we had e tickets, I had booked in Feb. I booked again in May for August and when I did not get my e tickets I rang them and they said they were now ticketless and to just take your itinary. As redrhino was told the same and he is now there ok I assume that is correct. Not sur why other people are not being told the same.

We had no tickets in May, just took the itinery. Had e-tickets when we booked, but then they changed the time and never sent anything else through. No issued had either end - we had 20kg also, a smidge over on one case, on the nose on the other and they let it through at Manchester :)

I have just been onto flythomascook website. When I enter my booking reference it says you can check in online and choose seats from 1 week before you fly, up to 25 hours, before you fly.You can also put in your API or advanced passenger information which is required by any country you fly to now.You can also re-send your booking conformation which you should take to the airport with you.

We received our e tickets last week, there are 5 of us coming with all our names on the e -tickets.Would we have to have a copy per person or just the one print off with all our names on.Probable sounding a bit thick here but i want to make my travelling as smooth as possible. Thanks :?

We just take two copies of the e-ticket with us to the airport - one for going and one for the return (in case I lose one) for all our party. As long as you are all on the same booking just one copy is ok. :)
