Can't go....2013

The holiday fund has gone. Emergency house re-wire has meant that the savings had to go elsewhere. So it's gonna be 2014 before our next visit.
Gutted, but considering the electrical problem could have seen us burnt in our beds i suppose it's a matter of priorities. Already looking forward to everyones summer posts and will just have to be patient for our turn.

Sorry to hear you cannot go to Icmeler this year but it is better to be safe as sorry and there will be other years for you. Best of luck with your elecrical problem

Sorry to hear you cant go but as you say, electrical problem was priority there is always the lottery though, never give up hope you never know

Yeah, sorry from me too but like you say, priorities are safety.

My wife keeps (quietly) nagging for a new kitchen which was going to be this year but I managed to persuade her to put it off a year so we can go on holiday lol.

It will go ahead in 2014 though so we won't be going away next year (unless like Sue says - we win the lottery )
I'll also need a new car next year (I want a Honda Civic type S) and we need to complete the garden refurb I started last year - patio & re-turf - all costs money but we'll definitely be going away (probably Icmeler) in 2015

Our friends who were in Icmeler with us last year phoned us up on Friday......They are going to Gumbet in September. After hearing about our house re-wire they have surprised us with two tickets to go with them. Absolutely gobsmacked we were. Still no Icmeler but hey ho......been to Gumbet before and had a great time.

Still.......see you all in 2014......definately

The weekend has been an absolute blast.......getting everything sorted......and hopefully next year, back to Icmeler as a group of 4. Happy days and thanks for the good wishes everyone.
