Now that the supreme has ruled that the airlines must pay out, has anyone received compensation?

I put my claim in with mom arch in September for my five hour flight delay but have only received the standard email and can see this taking a long time . Anyone's thoughts ?

All I would say is, don't give up - they do tend to fob people off to begin with, but keep on at them and hopefully it will pay off in the end

Good Luck Sandybeach

Reading the link you posted looks like the culture will change, which is good.

I see there's lots of dependencies on the reason for delay, the airline & the route before compo will be paid. Seems a bit of a minefield but worth the effort I'm sure.

Compensation received and flights rebooked for August and September, thanks Monarch , received enough to also pay for a bottle of champagne on the flight out. Thank you JT for booking the extra night at sun village. Looks like I will be bringing your winter woollies on the September trip.
