hi its been 20 years since i was last in turkey do u still have to pay £10 visa on entry to country :?:

:lol: Sorry but I couldn't help laughing! The £10 visa lasts for 3 months, not 20 years- it would be nice if it did!

It's actually 90 days, not three months - some folk have been caught out that way in the past, thinking it's three calendar months rather than the strict 90 days from the day you arrive in the country.

the annoying part of the visa is having to pay for infants cant for the life of me see why that is the case

I know that Visa's have been discussed at length recently especially the new regulations & the new 180 day visa which has now been recinded, do I assume therefore that passports with the new 180 day visa issued earlier this year will be ignored & people will have to pay £10 as usual .

this could be getting off the subject a bit and i im sorry for that, but if/when turkey join europe they wont be able to charge this fee........although i think i would rather pay ten pounds entry and spend less when on holiday, than not pay it and pay inflated prices....like the spanish are encountering
