how to keep 13 year olds occupied on the plane

Books, Magazines, puzzles, games, - a map of the med and a watch to chart the progress of the flight. I suppose I'm showing my age!

Portable DVD player and take your own films, worked for my kids and you can get them for less than £50 on ebay.

take them up to the flight deck introduce them to the pilot let them have a go at flyin the plane works everytime for me

It's been quite a few years since you have been able to do that. My eldest has been up there but it was banned before the yougest had the possibility.

My brother works for air traffic control and was telling us that you aren't allowed to do this anymore since September 11

I would imagine its significantly easier than trying to entertain/contain/control a 2 year old! Tell them to sit down shut up and deal with it!

Being told if I didn't stop complaining, they would stop, and I'd have to walk home worked for me.......course this was on a drive to Wales.

they wont get bored, its us adults that get bored on the planes - I do cant concentrate cos am too excited so look for the alps and greek islands and things like that.

They will be boy / girl watching if its anything like my 2 girls last year.
