Flew from newcastle, morning flight with t c not a great deal of leg room a pretty uncomfortable flight but when we arrived at dalaman it was soon forgotten.Private transfer but we still had the stop off on the way arrived at our apartments around 6 oclock a quick shower and change then off to the bar for our first bottle of efes.To our disspointment for a second time the apartments did not sell efes , at the stop on the way to icmeler we were also denied a bottle of our favourite tipple we only sell tuborg was the reply.It was straight off to Tommys for something to eat but first a bottle of efes it was good to see tommy mehmet and mustapha again .We ate at the usual places Tommys, Charlies opps alins grill we met up with Christine again which was nice .We tried the sizzler but were not impressed sorry ,its was worst meal we had.The best meal and the cheapest we had was at Alins Grill we had soup, garlic bread,half a roast chicken chips,rice and salad all for £6 excellent value for money .We read on the forum about Eddies Bar a great place to for a quite drink enjoyed a few nights there. We spent a few days on the beach and on the way back called into Cafe Anns the cheese cake as usual was excellent . Went to the market but we did not enjoy it as normal its hard to describe but they was no haggling i noticed on a number of times when a price could not be met the stall holders became very aggressive and abusive at one time they would call you a cheeky bugger and laugh about it but not any more a real shame. We had a couple days of rain which was a first for us the locals were happy to see rain.We spent the odd afternoon in the miami a great place to chill with a bottle of efes. We were told by some bar owners that tuborg would be the number one beer next year i hope not .We have already booked for next year we managed to get a good deal and went to see the aparts we had booked they look ok and we spoke to some of the guests who said they were fine but after been to to the market and one or two incidents we saw perhaps its time for a change icmeler seemed to be changing its given us something to think about .
