holiday review 8/8/10 to 24/8/10

first time posting a review so here goes.
Left East Mids airport on time with Onur Air. Flight uneventfull and soon we were landing at Dalaman. Private transfer with ICR to Icmeler and arrived at Bonjour Hotel 1 hour 20 mins later.
Had a two bedroom apartment which was excellent, nice and spacious and all mod cons. Spent most days on beach as pool was nice but quite small and sometimes overcrowded.
Hired a jeep for 3 days and went to Datcha, Ayakaka beach and stopped in small bays around jesus beach area. Found Ayakaka beach and sea fascinating as the water is like standing in a hot bath.
We ate out every night at various places but our favourites were Tandoori Sizzler ( ate hear 3 times ) and Broadway ( ate here twice ) Others included Vinces, Florida, Venice and Bonjour . All food was excellent apart from our visit to Aysima which was not up to standards it had previous year.
Bonjour was good food but over priced we thought compared to other places. Would have thought that as residents that there would have been some discount for encouraging you to eat there more often as we were asked daily if we would be that night . This would have been returned to staff as tips anyway or even glass of wine with meal as a thank you would have been a nice touch.
Went to Havana and had good time with Za Za as usual, Friends bar ( rockin Ken ) and Diva bar to name a few.
Lunchtimes ate at Champions and Erdem cafe on beach front. Nice Donner wraps here.
Found prices slightly up from last year but still excellent value for money. Did 5 bays boat trip with ICR and this was the best one we have done as from previous years trips.
Overall another brilliant holiday in Icmeler and cannot wait till next year to do it all again. Dont know why but Icmeler has a magical charm that attracts you back year after year.
