Here is my review on a fantastic holiday. Any questions or anything you want to know i will be happy to answer if i can.

Exchange rate: mainly 2.30 in supermarkets – best rate Wonderboys bar 2.35

Food: Did not have a bad meal and went to different place each night. However, best = Turkish Kitchen/Amigos – worst (although still good) Champagne. For decent meal plus starter for hubby and a couple of drinks each it was approx 50Ltr (give or take 10Ltr either way).

Drink: Efes – 4/5 Ltr. Vodka/coke – 10Ltr. Cocktails 8.50Ltr (Irish bar buy one get one free upto 11pm)

Bars: All great. Went to Majestic, Venice, 3 Bells, Irish Bar, Captain Bullshit, Wonderboys, Friends, Charlies, Lighthouse. Entertainment much the same wherever, Elvis, Tina Turner etc (all good fun). Irish Bar also juggling, Crazy Tommy climbing tree with tray of cocktails on his head etc.

Beach: Absolutely lovely – so relaxing.

Weather: hot, hot, hot

Trips: We booked Turkish bath, cruise, jeep safari and sunset cruise – all 4 for £25pp. All great – jeep safari so much fun but be warned do not wear anything white or anything decent – it will get ruined!

We also done a 2 day trip to Ephasus/Pamukalee. We were picked up at 6am, stopped for breakfast, Ephasus (fantastic but hot), lunch, carpet factory, museum. Then onto overnight stay at hotel in Pamukalle included dinner and breakfast – then white cliffs/Cleopatras bath (absolutely fantastic!!) – lunch, pottery factory and back to resort. All for £55 pp.

These were booked at the travel agents next to Titanic/Turkish Kitchen.

We stayed at Babadan Hotel, B&B. Lovely and clean and friendly. Small but adequate. It is opposite 3 Bells, which we made our first and last stop every night – great bunch of lads in there!!!

Also went to Babadan Apartments for their Turkish night which included lovely huge meal, traditional Turkish dancing etc. £25 per head. Excellent!

Think I have covered everything. All in all we loved Icemeler. It was our first time but it wont be our last. It is such a pretty resort. Clean, friendly and safe. No lager louts – great for a family holiday. Music stopped at 12 but we sat in 3 Bells sometimes until 2am.
