You should consider yourself very lucky, this is a Kingfisher and normally very difficult to photograph in Britain as they are quite timid. Unusually, I managed to get a picture of one in Belek myself when I was playing golf.....saw 2 in one day lol

We saw Kingfishers when we were on the Akyaka trip - it was lovely to see them on the river when we stopped at the Olive Farm. Of course, that would be the moment the battery in my camera chose to die...
