My friend has just returned from this hotel and she enjoyed it, she said the food was nice if a little repetetive.

The weather will still be lovely when you go, sun bathing during the day and nights a little cooler, you may need a cardie in the evening, but not every evening. You might even get an odd thunderstorm, but these dont last long and are spectacular to watch.

Local beer (efes) is cheap enough, you will probably get it for around 3 lira and vodka and mixers are around 6-8 lira, depending where you drink. Dont go for the brand names like smirnoff etc, as these are heavily taxed by the Turkish Government so are quite expensive, just stick to local drinks.

Sorry I cant help with the Man U bar.

Dont spend all your time in Marmaris though, you are just as close to Icmeler from this hotel. Icmeler is smaller than Marmaris, but very picturesque and has some great bars and restaurants. Marmaris is more commercialised.

There is a Man U bar called the Old Trafford Bar,never went in it but went by it on the bus a few times. If you can find your way to point centre, stand with your back towards the beach, over the crossroads and its on the left hand side going up the street. Sorry not very good at directions!

There is a ManU bar just off from the seafront, in fact there is a block of football based bars all close together, the Ibrox, Anfield, ManU and Everton, not too good at giving directions but I think is near to Romance Hotel, more or less next to Cheers/Talk of the Town. Have had a drink outside the bar, did not go inside but looked to be on the small side, have been in the Old Trafford Bar which is alot bigger, head for the Taj Mahal which is across the road from the Point Centre, carry on up the side street which the Taj is on and the Old Trafford is a couple of mins away, Majestic Boys/Jacandra bar is next door to it, out of the two we preferred the Old Trafford Bar (hubby is a ManU supporter). I am pretty sure Old Trafford is a restaurant and fun pub as well, the waiters were very friendly, the one on the seafront I think was maybe aimed at the younger people as it was playing "clubby" type music and Old Trafford was more varied. Both bars I would say are worth a visit.

Hope this helps.

Have a good time, I wish I was back there now - have just remembered that the ManU bar on the front has some scrubland in front of it and a snack bar on the corner called Tasty Bites. We tried to get into both bars the night England were playing Crotia and they were both full, as were the others, we ended up in Alfresco/madhatters bar, (opposite the smaller new Tansas supermarket), the waiters knew us in there and moved some tables so that we had a good view.

hi all just got back from our hols :( we had a fantastic time the weather is roasting. 32 egrees in the morning at 10 oclock. couldnt fault marmaris or icmelar. the people were superb, the infinate bar on te sea front was a great bar to chill out looking out onto te beautiful med. old trafford bar was class and i ate the best grub of my holiday in there, a turkish beef casserole, mmmmm.and the staff were ace. we went to icmelar beach had a lovely day out. it is a beautiful place. the only downside to marmaris/icmelar is the beaches are not sandy. but hey no big probs. green nature resort is a lovely hotel and great food and drinks  all in all we had a class holiday. thanks to all your tips. martin :D
