Exchanging money in Turunc

Postby denyse » 30 Jun 2011 19:19

Hi - just wondering if anyone knows if there is anywhere to exchange travellers cheques in Turunc. I know that most people would advise on taking stirling and but not keen on travelling with all that cash on me, however just worried that it won't be easy to change travellers cheques or that the rate won't be so good. Has anyone any experience of using travellers cheques and if so where they would suggest exchanging them. Any advice much appreciated.

Sorry I cant help, but when we were in Turunc last week, my Sister went to the Post Office to change sterling, and they only gave 2.4 exchange, where as it was 2.58 everywhere else. I dont know if the shops in Turunc will change travellers cheques like the ones in Icmeler do, but I am sure someone will come along soon and help you out.

Definitely J & M Travel in the High Street. I use them all the time. Lovely couple.
