Yes Lynda,

I second that. Well worth a visit. Authentic Turkish Cuisine. Each dish is prepared fresh on the premises.

Family business with great service.

big thank you to the owners of the Selam Restaurant (Turgay & Sibil).

Have eaten there many times, the food is always excellent, freshly cooked and guests are made to feel as welcome as anywhere!

Kind Regards

Hi

We've eaten at the Selam on over 50 occasions now! :D

Food is excellent, location is great, Turgay & Sibel (owners) are attentive, service can be a bit slow if it's busy, but as every single dish is individually hand prepared, ensures that what you receive on your plate is as fresh as you can get.

Regards
Richard & Lesley

Challenge him to a game of backgammon too - I love going in there in the afternoon for a beer or two, and if its quiet I have a game with him.

Always been meaning to visit the Selam, but somehow never got round to it until now - and glad we did. Really nice place to enjoy authentic Turkish food. Sibel and Turgay are great hosts and the food was delicious. Not the place to eat if you want "fast food" - but if you want to sample real Turkish cooking in a nice laid-back atmosphere, the Selam is definitely worth a visit.
