Morning Mark

The Wayside is just off the main street going into the Old Town.

Basically behind the Tansas if you like.

If you were going to the Tansas you would go past the Exit Doors turn left down this Road and past a Bakery on you're left and about 300 yards down the Road Wayside is on you're left mate

Regards,

TIMUK.

Thanks

We will definately try it this year as I think that it may be near to where we are staying when we go in July. It's great to hear good reviews, particularly about places like this that we've never been to.

Thank you.

i loved the wayside, i went to icmeler for two weeks at the start of july and ended up eating in there most of the time, the food was amazing, if you were to get that quality of food at home it would cost loads! the staff are so friendly, i just really loved the place!

Last year was very good but this year is even better !
Very nice pastas, excellent steaks and tastful turkish food.
As a starter I loved the grilled halloumi cheese and as main course the wayside glaze yummie :D .
Hamdi and Ozkan are really nice and gave very good advice about the food and wines.
The setting is very charming and not so loudly as in other places , so you will be able to have a nice conversation .
This one is on top of our list !

Love from Holland Simone

Can't recommend it enough. Excellent food and service. One of the owners, Ozkan, was particularly friendly.
The cheesecake there is just to die for. There's even a picture of it on their website *************

I have to agree, brilliant food and service.
The cheesecake is fantastic, but you need to try the creme brulee mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The lemon chicken is great too!, in fact I have never had anything like it.
Give it a go, you'll see what I mean.

We will be in there, as soon as we throw the cases into the apartment and the short stroll, We'll have two glasses of coke, two lemon chickens and one cheesecake + one creme brulee.
Thank you.

Can't wait.
:D

I think Wayside a lovely restaurant, not gareish like some, just a good relaxed atmosphere and good food.
Ozkan and Hamdi always friendly - and always there! - and always proud of their restaurant.
Last September we unfortunately had to go to Gumbet and had a day trip on the hydrofoil to Icmeler.
We went to the Wayside for lunch, where I had a beautiful Caesar salad, and commented to Hamdi it was the nicest food I'd had in a fortnight.
Two weeks ago we went with our friends on the first night of this years holiday. Hamdi said 'you have been in my restaurant before I think?' I said I had yes. As he got us seated he continued........'you came on a trip for just one day...........you sat at that table...........and you had a salad which you really enjoyed.'
How on earth do they do it?!

Definitely the new "Loveboat" but without the uniforms!!! Excellent food, atmosphere and very knowledgeable patrons. Definitely "the place" to visit. All the best to Hamedi, Ozcan, Rachel and Louisa.
