Cafe Erdem

Postby redrhino12 » 22 Jan 2005 16:35

Situated on the promenade and surrounded by trees, which act as shade from the heat of the midday sun, is the cafe Erdem, selling a wide range of inexpensive drinks and snacks, a couple of hours can be spent here looking out to sea watching the watersports, or just chilling out and watch the visitors walking by.
With large bottles of Effes at 2ytl and a fingere roll with tuna and salad at 2ytl,total cost £1.54 this has got to be one of the cheapest lunches around.
On my second visit to the Erdem the waiter remembered my order from the previous day," A bottle of Effes and a tuna sandwich no salad."
he said,
How do they do that they must have better memories than Lesley Welch

:D Been going to cafe Erdem for the last 6 years and still the same staff, nice that it's not changed and still as cheap as ever. Spent many an hour or two watching the world go by - bliss

Erdem

It will be our first trip to Turkey in May, and we are staying at the Aqua Hotel, so Erdem cafe looks like a good place for us to eat at lunch time, we like to sit and watch the world go by :D :D

The Erdem's certainly good value for money - we always lunch there if we're on the beach. It's also somewhere you go to chill out with a quiet drink late evening, away from the noise of the popular places along the canal.

But Gene - I can beat you - on my second visit to Icmeler the waiter remembered my order from the previous year (how embarrassing is that!)

Am off to Icmeler again on friday - let's see if they still remember my order
