Denningj, we have eaten at winehouse lots of times. Never had a bad meal there. If you walk down by the canal to Venice. Take the turning above Venice, walk to the end. Sun blue should be facing you. Walk round the corner in front of Sun Blue and Winehouse is just along that road.

It's pretty much right behind the Marti Hotel - an alternative route is if you walk along past the Florida, take the little side street on the other side of the road just before you get to the Arya apartments (there's a little minimarket on the corner) and Winehouse is just down there at the bottom, facing you.

Its about 4 years since I last went to Winehouse, ordered the fillet steak which came with a ring of fat around it, definetly rump !, was sick of the owner comming around everyone dining wanting them to pose for her camera to put put pictures on their facebook page.

One of the worst meals we have ever had was in the Winehouse. It was well over an hour between ordering and the food arriving. Every time we asked where our food was they said it was my son's fault as they were waiting for chips. My son who at the time was 10, got quite upset at being blamed. They eventually brought 3 of the 4 meals, which were mediocre at best. We waited another 20 minutes for the 4th meal.
I know people and places have their off days but the real problem was the customer service. Or more to the point, the lack of it. Not once did anyone apologise. In fact apart from when they were blaming the chips and produced the bill, we were totally ignored.
Suffice to say we have not returned. Nor did we have our photo taken for Facebook!

Hi, no it was not this year. It was a couple of years ago but as it is the same owner wild horses would not drag me back in there. :D
