Munamar

Hearing tonight that the Munamar has closed suddenly, with rumours of bankruptcy. Footage posted on Facebook of guests leaving in droves. Very sad if true, particularly for all those directly affected.

I have stayed at the munamar on our first visit to icmeler and wasn't impressed. But that doesn't mean that it should have closed as it served other peoples requirements. We now stay at the Chateau across the road and sit and watch the comings and goings at the munamar so it will be very strange to see no one there although it was very quiet when we were there in June compared to previous visits.
hope the staff find work at this hard times.

The owner of the Munamar, an arab, was letting someone else rent the place, who hasnt paid his rent for 2 years, so he was taken to court this week by the owner and the bank, and he has had to close down.

has there been any "movement" at the Munamar? Is it all of the hotel which has closed or just the beach front part?
