Hi Geordie, yes I saw it...we know the person who bought it...everyone knows everyone up here in gods country lol. That was filmed a god few years ago now though. It's lovely in summer, very bleak in winter.
Hope you both ok.

Ha ha ... small world up there then with 100 people or so??

Aye, it was filmed in 2012 I think? ... was a nice renovation and lovely views if you like fields

We're good anyway thanks, refreshed from our 1st hol of 2017 to Tenerife  ... just counting the weeks down til the 17/5 for Lanzarote now ... free accommodation, as our neighbours have a timeshare and have invited us for a week for Mrs G's birthday (BIG 50) and flights via Ryanair were only £278 for us both :D

How's Derek doing, fully recovered now and cycling daily?

Take it easy

You lucky Devils, 1 holiday down and another coming up, cant be bad.
Hope Jeanette has a great 50th birthday...

Yes, Derek all recovered now, back in his "Lycra" and riding every other day. That's dedication for you.
6 more weeks till our first holiday, must get our heads in gear and go earlier next year. Sure we can squeeze an early one in lol.

Glad to hear it Mansy  ... life in the old dog yet eh? ... he's probably fitter then me and I'm only 46!!

Yep, get yourself abroad for an 'early bird' holiday next year ... Tenerife was nice and hot most days, best Canary Island we've done and we will be going back.

Been looking at Hurghada in Egypt for September, but we'll see after Lanzarote in May and get it booked up ...4 or 5 Star luxury All inclusive for around £900 for us both, so seems a decent enough price! :D

So are you off to Portugal for your 1st Hol or is the yearly 'warm up' break to Torquay with the grandkids 1st?

Torquay first...no grandson this year. He's a teenager now and thinks it uncool to go Torquay with Nan & Grandy lol. In other words he's bored. Torquay April, Croatia June, Torquay August, Portugal September, York December.

Not been Hurghada, we went on a Cruise & stay (Nile & Luxor), long time ago now. We went for our 25th wedding anniversary, it's our 48th this year. OMG, that makes me feel old....NOT.

Now then Mansy .... how's things?

Well .... we've caved in! ... we're 'coming home' in September after all (29/9 for a week) booked the Le'toile and looking forward to it :D

Will let you know how things were etc on our return .... heard that Abraham isn't at the 'Tandoori/Corner' anymore and is now based in Antalya?

Take Care,

I'm sure once everywhere is up and running we'll soon find out who is where. To be honest, it's not really a place I was ever in very often anyway...

Awe Geordie, we fly home from Portugal on 24th September. Wouldn't be fair in our son & daughter in law to look after our dog again so soon after, plus the dog misses us lol.
Would have been good to catch up again. Better planning next time eh, on both our parts.
We'll be there at some point.
Just in case, I want updates on the resort

Yep, we'll plan some dates for next year and have a catch up ... and I'll provide plenty of updates/opinions when we get back

Enjoy Portugal, are u back in Alvor?

Hey Geordie, just back from Croatia holiday. What a fabulous place Baska Voda is. Had a great holiday...but...
Still missed Icmeler so much. Icmeler is still our favourite place on earth. Will be back very soon if I get my way.

Take care, Mansy & Mr M

We're away on the 5/7 to Paphos (Cyprus) and can't wait for 2 weeks of luxury and relaxation :D ... but as you say it's not icmeler and I just hope when go in September it's back to what we loved and not what we didn't like

How long for your Torquay and Alvor trips?
