Dreamboys

Postby bigphil » 24 Oct 2005 11:02

I can't belive that I'm the first to post about the Dreamboys. What an amazing place to be entertained, there is something going on wherever you look, the cocktail waiter, the dancer, the barmen or even the other waiters all doing thier best to entertain. A brilliant place!!

Have you not been to the Venice bigphil? far better than the dreamboys, well i think so anyway, the cocktail waiter in dreamboys the one who dances with the tray on his head is call Yahya or Franco, he is the owner or part owner i should say. We used to go in a lot over the years, but as I have said the Venice for Entertainment is far better, In there if its your birthday your cake would be delivered to you by Tiger balancing it on his head, Michael Jackson makes an apperance, the waiters dance all night long, the barman are fantastic, and they even have a juggler who is absolutley brilliant, plus we all join in with the dancing, I don't know how they fit it all in in one night.Fantastic. Sometimes we had to book a table to make sure we could get in! All that free entertainment for the price of a lovely meal.

Yes, I did enjoy myself at the dreamboys, with all that balancing on ones head and stuff - very talented. And the meal we had was excellent, but you're right about having your favourite place, and Venice will always be mine!..............sorry dreamboys you're great.........but not theVenice! :P

hey bigphil!
i have to agree wiht you that dream boys is very good for entertainment. and the man who clilmbs the trees with the cocktails on his head is very impressive. the food is great too!
personally i think that dreamsboys is better than venice. i have only been in there once but personally i cant see what all the fuss is about? although to be fair i did leave at just gone ten so the entertainment haden't got started...so i suppose i shouldn't make to much of a judgement.
but my favourite has got to be friends restaurant and bar (along from chill in the square). this has brillaint entertainment (you get to dance on the bar, breakdancers and the turkish dancing.) and the staff are really friendly!
but as others have said......each to their own
