Marmaris to Rhodes cheapest route

Hi all
Going back 14th time after a 2 year break early July
Taking friends who have never been
Staying at the Gunes apartments as usual
What has changed .......
Thinking of visiting an old friend who used to be in the Bamboo restaurant - Veli Velioglu
He now works in Rhodes running a restaurant.
What is the cheapest way to get there for lunch 1200 - 1400 then back for about 1900 ish
I know someone will know on here

Have a look at the excursions tab above. We did the day trip with icr two years ago. Crossing took longer because the sea was rough but still had a good 5-6 hours in Rhodes. And with the old town being a 5 min walk from the harbour it leaves you plenty of time to explore

The ferry is a reasonably cheap option, we did it two years ago and it was a good trip. However it is very expensive.
We had a breakfast when we arrived in the town and if memory serves it was about £18 /€24 for the two of us and that was just a small English breakfast, lunch was even more expensive, but we did get duty frees on the way back lol

If you walk off the boat and do not walk away from the tourist capture area around the old town then you will get stuffed.

Turn right out of the gate and keep walking until you see the Beneton shop and walk along that street and it gets cheaper
