Postby geordie1970 » 16 Oct 2014 14:04

Hi, has anyone stayed at the above and if so is it any good? ... Mrs G wants to spread her Wings and try somewhere else, she wasn't impressed with the Efendi :(

Thanks in advance .....

Hi Geordie,
We stayed there a few year ago, location is fantastic, great for people watching if you get one of the front facing rooms, can be a bit noisy from the big hotel opposite but we never found it a problem because we were out anyway. the rooms were ok but a bit tired looking but it could have been refurbed since. Only a small pool but you are right on the beach anyway. Staff nice, very polite and helpful but not in your face.
Hope this helps
Regards
sue

Stayed here last year and as said noise from hotel across road, but otherwise no complaints.Beach just across road and if you want sorme drinks someone will get them for you.Had a room looking out to beach with good sized balcony, staff very friendly and two pools too choose from, one deep the other nice to cool off in.

We stayed in the Chateau last year and the location is superb, I have to say the hotel itself was a little quiet, staff were friendly enough and as for the view , second to noneas we had a front facing room right opposite the entrance to the promenade

I have stayed here for the last 3 years (1st 2 weeks in September). It was refurbished for this season.
Basic Turkish breakfast, very friendly staff. It can be a bit noisy at the front but I just use wax earplugs and don't hear a sound.
Fantastic location with views to die for. They had upgraded their restaurant menu this year and the food was very good and reasonably priced. I have booked again for next year too.
Try it, but don't leave it too late as it is very popular with repeat guests and only has 30 rooms.

Thanks all for the info .. We'll be booking up very soon for June 26/6 for 2 weeks and if we're happy with it we'll probably stay again for our 10 days in September
